The Valparaiso Kennel Club is a not-for-profit
organization dedicated to the advancement of the sport of
purebred dogs. We are
located in
Valparaiso, Indiana,
just south of the beautiful shores of Lake
Michigan and the
Indiana
Dunes State Park.
Our members participate in a wide
range of American Kennel Club dog activities
which include conformation events and performance events such as obedience, agility, herding, field and water trials
and therapy work. We offer training
classes in both
conformation and obedience for members as well as the general
public. If you are looking for a breeder, please view our
membership list.
Valparaiso Kennel Club takes pride in
their community involvement. Through their obedience training
program the VKC helps area dog owners train their pets to become
Canine Good Citizens.
Educational programs have included a
variety of topics such as care for the elderly dog and meetings are open to
the public.
